End of an Era...

Ah, yes, the baby returns!! But, folks, sadly...his little baby boy tears are for real this time. This post is not full of the joy and flourishing happiness one would normally expect from the best clan in Killzone 2. My good friends and fellow fiends of the Killzone 2 universe, the glory days of good ol' [thnx] clan are behind us, and the bitter, painful end upon us :(

It has been an invaluable experience for myself to start up and run this clan in Killzone 2. It takes quite an incredible video game to get me to even do what i did here (of the hundreds of games I've played, I've run 3 clans in my lifetime), and with the help of some truly special gamers out there I was able to start up this clan and just have a blast running it.

[thnx] clan was founded on the principles of life, liberty and the pursuit of peacefulness. With the help of quite possibly the best gamers you could ever ask for, we were all able to enjoy ourselves happily and peacefully without any problems or conflicts. I'm happy to say that I had an incredibly fun time playing with all of you, and if the opportunity presents itself again I'll be there in a heart beat!

For me online gaming has always been about the community and friendships you can form. I think through [thnx] clan we've held one hell of a community of just insanely awesome gamers. Each one of you guys (and gals!) make this whole thing happen, and it is so much fun for me to run a clan like this. So, a huge whopping THANKS! to all of you out there for joining this clan and sticking with us through it all! Thank you everyone, keep geeking out and enjoying life's greatest gift: video games!! :)

I've decided to keep this website up, as well as the forum. The clan on the game as well will remain as is. I for one will always be wearing my [thnx] tags, and I figure some of you will like to have them as well! So, feel free to always stop back here at the website and reminisce, as well as checking out the forum which will also remain active.

Another Patch/DLC Coming Soon!

Thanks to look2leap for posting this on our member forums, Killzone 2 will be getting what appears to be another awesome patch from our friends at Guerilla!

With the added trophies and patch additions, this is perfectly dubbed "DLC III". Hope everyone is psyched for this and will be purchasing it (eventually, at least!).

I know I've just been a bit too busy lately to even find time to hop online, let alone update the website. I'm a bit pissed actually that I can't get the time to hop on and play as of late...but rest assured, I will most likely be getting this update as soon as I find some time to play!! Hope you guys are all having fun out there, keep checking back at the forum for miniscule updates here and there ;)

Happy July 4th Celebrations!

Happy July 4th to you all! I'm a day early because I will not be here tomorrow to update... so, here ya go! Obviously, for those of us living here (or not), America is the greatest country on the planet!! Let us rejoice for our ancestors revolutionary sacrifice in building this great country, and remember to sustain it's invaluable presence through our own individual efforts as the people!

Oh, the Humanity!!!

So, I was working for quite a bit on updating our member rankings, as well as our Top 10, and an addition to the Clan War spreadsheet. Sometimes I get carried away and my crappy old computer has no Auto-save function anywhere in paint.......so.....as a thunder storm barely even began to show itself, my electric goes out. Awesome!

So, with that said, I will be having some major updates by next week on all of our beloved spreadsheets and what not. Sadly, everything I worked on is now gone. Oh yah, and for anyone who I may have told I was going to be on last night, well...I had no electric!

In the meantime, keep having fun and kicking ass out there! Be sure to check back for some updates on those spreadsheets.

Officer Promotion Week: inferno8O8

It was certainly a battle these past few weeks to find the best officer out of those who applied. Without question this small batch of soldiers seeking Officer status are some of the best gamers you could ever find. Everyone (and you know who you are) that has applied has shown a serious interest in the position as well as the clan in general, and I thank you all so much for doing that! Sadly, though, I can only pick one at this time!

Showing incredible interest within our clan, remaining consistantly active and awesome, I hand this weeks promotion to inferno8O8! Qualifying for the WO1 status alone, inferno has shown us the workings of a true leader for [thnx] clan. Through actively contributing on our forum, consistantly playing in games and making suggestions within the clan, inferno is truly in the highest ranks of our players with the best attitudes! Thanks for being awesome, inferno, welcome to the officer council soldier!

It's great to have a fresh member right now. We've been much tighter lately on who we recruit, so it may be a while until we find another great addition to the clan. Paragonia is an awesome person and a great addition, welcome to the clan!!

In other news, we will be having a new Officer join our ranks very soon. Either this week or next week, one of a few who have submitted requests will be chosen for Officer status. Remember, if you are interested in applying to become an Officer in [thnx] just send a simple request over to either myself or Fury.

It's Summertime!! Rejoice!!

Probably my favorite time of the year, we've finally stumbled upon the great summer.

Anddddd some clan updates please!! Well, for starters, I do have a preliminary Clan War Spreadsheet to share!

The spreadsheet seems fine as it currently is, but it is technically still in beta form. I am working on a few little bits to it, which will probably never get done, so that's that for now! Hope you like it!

With my busy schedule as of late it has been pretty darned difficult to update all of the various aspects of the website and rankings that I've flooded myself with. I'm still well and trying, it's just gonna take me a bit longer to get those updates out!

Reminder: The Flash & Thunder maps are out and they are AWESOME, if you have $6 to spare, please invest! The maps are really alot of fun and are certainly worth it.
