Oh, the Humanity!!!

So, I was working for quite a bit on updating our member rankings, as well as our Top 10, and an addition to the Clan War spreadsheet. Sometimes I get carried away and my crappy old computer has no Auto-save function anywhere in paint.......so.....as a thunder storm barely even began to show itself, my electric goes out. Awesome!

So, with that said, I will be having some major updates by next week on all of our beloved spreadsheets and what not. Sadly, everything I worked on is now gone. Oh yah, and for anyone who I may have told I was going to be on last night, well...I had no electric!

In the meantime, keep having fun and kicking ass out there! Be sure to check back for some updates on those spreadsheets.

Officer Promotion Week: inferno8O8

It was certainly a battle these past few weeks to find the best officer out of those who applied. Without question this small batch of soldiers seeking Officer status are some of the best gamers you could ever find. Everyone (and you know who you are) that has applied has shown a serious interest in the position as well as the clan in general, and I thank you all so much for doing that! Sadly, though, I can only pick one at this time!

Showing incredible interest within our clan, remaining consistantly active and awesome, I hand this weeks promotion to inferno8O8! Qualifying for the WO1 status alone, inferno has shown us the workings of a true leader for [thnx] clan. Through actively contributing on our forum, consistantly playing in games and making suggestions within the clan, inferno is truly in the highest ranks of our players with the best attitudes! Thanks for being awesome, inferno, welcome to the officer council soldier!

It's great to have a fresh member right now. We've been much tighter lately on who we recruit, so it may be a while until we find another great addition to the clan. Paragonia is an awesome person and a great addition, welcome to the clan!!

In other news, we will be having a new Officer join our ranks very soon. Either this week or next week, one of a few who have submitted requests will be chosen for Officer status. Remember, if you are interested in applying to become an Officer in [thnx] just send a simple request over to either myself or Fury.

It's Summertime!! Rejoice!!

Probably my favorite time of the year, we've finally stumbled upon the great summer.

Anddddd some clan updates please!! Well, for starters, I do have a preliminary Clan War Spreadsheet to share!

The spreadsheet seems fine as it currently is, but it is technically still in beta form. I am working on a few little bits to it, which will probably never get done, so that's that for now! Hope you like it!

With my busy schedule as of late it has been pretty darned difficult to update all of the various aspects of the website and rankings that I've flooded myself with. I'm still well and trying, it's just gonna take me a bit longer to get those updates out!

Reminder: The Flash & Thunder maps are out and they are AWESOME, if you have $6 to spare, please invest! The maps are really alot of fun and are certainly worth it.

Honorable Discharge: clyde30

Today we bid farewell to another soldier with great potential and a great attitude in [thnx] clan, clyde30. I only had the chance to play very few games with clyde before he vanished from the killzone universe, but he was really a great, nice guy and to this day I had always hoped he would come back online! I believe the last game we played his kids were either yelling at him to get off, or he had to pick them up somewhere. A family man and a peaceful gamer, his presence is sorely missed! He made a great impression and was a pleasure to play with for the short time he was online. clyde30 has now been inactive on Killzone 2 for over a month with no indication of any return to the battlefield. Farewell, clyde!

Flash & Thunder Maps Out Today!

What's up everyone!! Haven't had much of a chance for updates this week (extremely busy)...but, for any members of the clan who are absolute fanatics of the game...the new Flash & Thunder maps are OUT!

I, for one, will definitely have the maps downloaded by tonight. Hopefully you guys can spare the extra cash and join the fun!

As for any other updates, all is quiet on the western front (still working on getting that damned Clan War Spreadsheet out). As of now, we have a pretty healthy lot of active players, and our search for new members has slowed down quite a bit. We are always looking for new recruits, but with our solid crew right now it will be harder and harder to enter into the clan. Only players with some serious interest in playing with our clan, having fun and making new friends will have a shot at joining [thnx]!

All Gave Some, Some Gave All: Day 1

Sunday will mark the day for announcements of members who have left [thnx] clan on an honorary note. The announcements will be exclusively for those who have had a positive stay, whether long or short lived, within the clan. The announcements will be made on an as-needed basis, so not every Sunday will include an announcement.

Honorable Discharge: ItsAllCur

Recruited by our Officer division, ItsAllCur was a pleasure to play with in [thnx] clan even for the very few games we managed to play together. Although his time within the clan was short lived, ItsAllCur proved some great potential and was a positive guy to play with. ItsAllCur has now been inactive for over a month with no notice or indication of a return.

MIA: Slamzor

Slamzor was one of our earliest recruits in [thnx] clan. I believe he was within the first 5 or so members to be recruited. After a long stretch of absence, it appears Slamzor has gone completely MIA. He has left our clan and appears to have left Killzone 2 altogether. Slamzor held some incredible potential by review of his statistics, but sadly was never active and apparently never truly interested in the game. Farewell, Slamzor, wherever you may be!

I don't have much to share in this update, but we will be having an update very soon involving the long awaited Clan War Spreadsheet. Some details about the upcoming system:

• The sheet will include all [thnx] clan members and their respect wins, losses, draws, and valor earned.
• Members will be split into divisions based on K/D ratio and experience
• Members will be chosen for clan battles based on their division and the threat level of the opposing clan.
• 4 Badges are available to every member upon playing in a number of Clan Matches
