EPIC (and some awesome updates)

So, for anyone who doesn't know already, we had an incredible clan match last night. By incredible, I mean: We went against the 76th best clan in the game, and scored a draw. Yes, and one of the members is (or was) ranked 11th in the world. You read that right, Rank 11 trip star beast.

So, long story short, the match was just flat out insane. The game ended on a Body Count DRAW! If you're interested and weren't a part of it, watch it here:

Now for some updates:

As some of you may have noticed, we now have a ranking system on the Forum. Here, in full detail, is the ranking system (purely for fun) that I threw together!

If you're pissed that you can't reach the Moderator rank, well, you can! Very active members who climb the ranks in [thnx] clan as well as contribute actively to the forum can easily be promoted by either myself or FurSlayer to that rank! Most likely you'll have to reach Aide to Radec first though :P!

And now for NEWS: Patch 1.27 which everyone was fiending for has officially been DELAYED!

A Few Updates...

Hey guys, although I JUST updated, I had to get out this information to you guys.

Firstly, we have a new member!! Please welcome to the clan:

look2leap4 has been playing with [thnx] clan members, including myself, on an incredibly frequent basis. Showing an incredible interest in the clan exceeding our new standards for recruits, it is a pleasure to have him join the clan! Thanks, look, you've been added to the nav bar at the top of this page! Kudos to QueensWalk1tOut for the recommendation.

Secondly, I've updated our Officer Requirements spreadsheet to account for all of the recent changes. This should sum up everything you guys need to know about Officer status. If you are still confused, feel free to ask any questions on the forum, or just send a PM to either myself or FurySlayer47!

Andddddd last but not least we are ACTUALLY beginning to use our Clan Chatroom! I have posted a link on the top of this page now, as well as a link on the Forums navigation bar. There's a post in the forum I made about this which some of you may have read, I'll be updating that post so check it out for more info on our chatroom!

YES!! New Patch 1.27 "Tomorrow Morning"!

Well, well, well...Another patch from what is swiftly becoming my favorite fan-service company ever! How many patches have we gotten so damn fast for this game!? I mean, they literally just announced this patch and it is coming out TOMORROW.

Apparently this is the mother of all patches. Check the link for the interview on the fixes, and here is a short list recap of some highlights:

• Spawn invincibility from tactician dropped spawns is removed
• Assault class armor decreased from 100 HP to 50 HP
• Sentry Bots are more precise, don't get shot at by turrets as much, and are harder to kill
• New control scheme included with "High-Precision" (optional) for better control response
• Joining friends improved

Also not mentioned in the interview, but apparently (being shouted everywhere else) you can now see the details of a game before entering it. Now, that is the greatest thing ever! And there are some search enhancements as well, and supposedly a bunch of other little awesome things.

Some pretty incredible patching in there, can't think of anything else that needed patching!

New Map Pack Coming!

We have two new maps coming both based on maps from the original Killzone multiplayer!!

Sounds pretty awesome, but sadly, they are apparently priced at $5.99 as the last pack was. I'm thinking this will only be worth it if people speak incredibly high of these maps.

Officer Promotion Week: QueensWalk1tOut

( This is a bit of an early post, but I have to run out so..! )

Despite having never admitted to me that Killzone 2 is a good game, QueensWalk1tOut has served our clan with fiendish activity and interest to earn himself the rank of Officer! Queens has shown true Officer qualities through recommending new players and being extremely active within the clan. Above all else, Queens statistics set him aside as a Chief Warrant Officer for the clan. Congratulations, Queens! Let's all hope he doesn't switch to H3 anytime soon like a lil gay xbot baby boy ;)! Thanks!

I have like 10,000 viruses

Hey guys, I somehow am managing an update through this God foresaken computer of mine.



Short story, I went to Ultimate-Guitar.com to find tabs for a fiendish masterpiece, and got hit by some small virus. Somehow this spread into a ton of viruses over time, and now my computer is nearly dead, saved only by my free virus scans and spyware scans.



Well, I did manage to finish an update here! Behold, Officers, your powers...

In addition, this update will fall off the page in a few hours: Officer Promotion tonight!!! Be there or be square!! 8:30 P.M. EST

Whew!!

What's up everyone! Back from a very long and arduous weekend...About to crash for the night but figured I would give a quick update on here!

Before I left on Friday I had been working on a major update for the Clan Officer resource. This should all be ready and done by tomorrow, I am hoping. A few sleight changes have been added, the requirements for officer status have not changed, just certain abilities are being altered accounting for different positions.

Another quick update: We are going to begin dropping inactive members from the clan. As FurySlayer has noted, this will be an "Honorable Discharge" for members who have basically gone AWOL. Should start doing this very soon, considering we already have a decent bulk of members whom we all never see online. Before a member is discharged, it will be up to the clan to decide together on their inactiveness bein a serious factor.

Hope you guys had a great weekend, won every game you played, kicked some elitists asses, etc etc...

I'll be heading back online tomorrow night hopefully, and we should be having an Officer Promotion this week! Cya guys online!

No Promotions Tonight...

Thought I would give you guys a heads up: there will be NO promotions tonight at 8:30 (the usual time of major promotions)

I have a few members applying for Officer status right now. All of this is still under heavy review as the Officer position is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. The officer position will more likely be appointed a bit more infrequently as more members arrive in [thnx] clan. I am confident, though, a promotion will be held a week from tonight (I've been reviewing members for a few weeks now).

So, goood luck to anyone who is interested in the position! Remember to apply by sending either myself or FurySlayer a simple letter of request for Officer status.

Should be a bit of a booster to anyone who is really dying for those clan wars to get in gear and earn themselves Officer status to challenge clans! The valor earns you some nice, reputable badges to slap on your [thnx] clan records.

Updated "Member Ranks & Honors"!

What's up everyone!! Before I crash for the night (big day tomorrow), I decided to update our member ranks board. Sorry to everyone that liked the nice full spreadsheet, but it was near impossible to update (Killzone.com changes their lengths for some reason, so the copy/paste wasn't working right). I added a link under "Resouces" to the official member leaderboard, anyway!

This new rank page accounts for your Clan Rank, Medals/Badges and Clan War Honors. The Clan War Honors section is attributed to a spreadsheet I have in the works which hands out honor badges for clan matches played.

The "Top 10" will be updated two to three times a week (whenever I get the chance).

Ever mowed a lawn for 5 hours?

Didn't think so.

After having just mowed my lawn for over 5 hours (long story, nature was not on my side today), I'm here with a small update, typing to you with green fingers ("green thumb" hah! wussies!)

Apparently, Joinc has left our clan. I never even had a chance to speak with him (he apparently never had a mic) and his reason for leaving is unknown to me. Well, farewell, dude!

Hey guys, although we had never really discussed it, I figured it was important to get us going with a forum for discussion and announcements!

I've had members message me about things, going on vacation, not being able to get online...whatever. Well, now all of that can be heard by everyone just by posting in the forum!

The forum is extremely easy to use. I found a phenominal host for the forum and it seems to be really easy and great for use. Signing up is 1,2,3 easy as cake so PLEASE guys join the forum so I can add you to the forum roster for Private Clan Discussion (If you're not a member of the forum, you can't post in the privat clan forum!). The Private Clan Discussion will not appear until you have registered for membership. I don't believe you even need an e-mail to sign up on this forum, it really is simple as cake.

Here is your brand spankin new Member Leaderboard for Thanks! Clan!!

While I sat in MS Paint for hours on end trying to figure out how to cram all the information I wanted to get into out new ranking sheet, I decided, hey, why not just pull it right from Killzone.com! So, our leaderboard is easier for me to update and for you to read.

The board will be updated around twice a week. As you will notice everything we have available to the clan as far as badges, officer ranks, medals, etc. are all included in the far right columns.

If you are wondering what other badges you can earn, well, I have also been working on a Clan War Rankings system for those who want a little more spunk to their clan war Valor earnings! That is coming soon!

Just finished watching The Wrestler and I suddenly feel 100 times better!! (Incredible film, by the way, go see it!)


As my sickness passes (I officially, for the record, had a violent cold combined with some incredibly terrible allergies) I am feeling better and better and more able to hop back into some real gaming. I literally was getting headaches just from trying to play against bots these past few days (I should have been lying down!).

Some of you may call that being a little baby boy.

I can't argue against that.
