In addition, a bit of my time this past weekend was taken up by organizing this little addition for the clan:
Ah, yes! Another spreadsheet! Well, here it is, one of our major updates for the clan this week: Our very own [thnx] Clan Medals system! There are four medals available to earn in [thnx] clan, all of which are incredibly difficult to achieve and ask for some serious, stand-out accomplishments. Here is some important information I may add to a separate spreadsheet in the future:
- Each medal can only be awarded one time to any member at any given time.
- As is outlined on the sheet, each medal is awarded by the combined decision of both the Leader and the Co-Leader.
- If a Leader or Co-Leader are not present at the time of significant accomplishment in the game, for instance the Medal of Honor, but a majority of members recommend that a player receive the medal, a descriptive outline of the event must be sent to the Leader or Co-Leader to critical review.
- The Leader & Co-Leader are ineligible for three of the four general medals and are in turn awarded for their rank the four highest honor leadership medals.
- If a Leader or Co-Leader ever leave the clan, are demoted, or choose to resign, their "Loyalty/Duty" badge will remain attached to their name, no matter what, to acknowledge their time as a Leader. Each of the three power related badges will be taken away and the potential for a Purple Heart will be considered. The details for the Purple Heart are outlined on the sheet.
In other news, please welcome ItsAllCur to the clan! I hadn't realized he joined the clan until a few days ago, so he just missed my last post on the new members...but, nevertheless he's on the roster and good to go! A few of us had a chance to play with him and he is really a cool guy to have in the clan. Great job to the Officers FurySlayer47 & SmokingAces21 for their expert recruiting these past few days!

cool new spreadsheet. im starting to worry though, with the layout of the website, all these new ranks and medals being added and more members joining, wont the right side of the page become cluttered?

You're dead right Brick, I've been thinking about that alot. I think I am definitely going to make a seperate page for Member Rankings and Medals. The spot will be the same on the homepage, but maybe a Top 10 players will list on the page, and a link for the ful member ranks to a seperate page? I'll be working on it...
ReplyDeleteThe Clan Chat I added a few days ago. Won't get used that much, but if we have a clan meeting of some sort online, we can all meet up in there! I figure it will be fun if we ever get the chance to use it! Easy to use, also.
